Thank you for being a part of the “adventure” that was 2020. Without you, there would be no Diane Dobson Barton/Artist-How-To website. <3

Of course, the end of the year always calls us to review what has gone behind us and plan what is to come. I do have a list of things I did accomplish in 2020 sitting right next to me. But right now, the thing I want to focus on is letting you know that I am pivoting my focus. What does that mean?

It means that this year there will be more writing happening than art. Behind the scenes, it’s been happening for a while now. I won’t bore you with the details other than let you know that this means some of our non-fiction ebooks are being updated and reformated.

Some art IS happening. But the focus is more on creating work to enter into competitions, creating work for publications, and selling work already completed. I will not be accepting any commissions in 2021.

This also means there is fiction coming. Stay tuned for more information as soon as it’s possible. <3

So now that we have all survived New Year’s Eve, today we officially begin another leg in our journey. Let’s make 2021 memorable in all the right ways!
