I have been working on this book off and on for a long while. As in years! But I am determined to get this puppy wrapped up and released this Summer!
Nothing forces us to slow down, be in the moment, and really look at something like drawing does. Putting that together with the innate human desire of creating art representing humans one can not help but revel in the process.
With the simple tools of paper and pencil, to the more advanced materials demonstrated in traditional techniques of the portrait drawing masters. In order to do the task accurately and proficiently requires a firm foundation and knowledge of the features and proportions. It is only than that you can fine tune your skills to produce quality portraiture unique to each individual’s appearance and the artist’s sensibilities.
