Story Behind them?
I sent off for reference books on Tiaras through interlibrary loan. I had sold a tiara I had made with soldered glass and was pleased with the feedback I had received from other artists. So, I was curious about creating more. When the books came in, the other employees were as caught up in the images as I was, and we all wound up spending time drooling over them. |
 |
One photo I came across showed how jewelers would create 'cartoons' or paper drafts to show to their client before investing time and materials in the actual product. This is where the idea for this came from. The idea of making it easier for others to create their own crowns and tiaras, with altered art materials was something I could not resist! |

*Tips
Color the images in your graphic editing software before printing.
Create an image transfer and transfer the image onto metal tape. Use alcohol inks to add color and embellish with other materials.
Extend the ends of the tiara pattern with wire, or other materials and connect them to create a rounded shape. |
 |
Make a small version and share it with someone you think deserves to be considered royalty, to sit on their desk or shelf. It will be there to remind them that there is someone that thinks they RULE!
On the backside write personal confirmations such as "You are loved", "Kick off your shoes and dance! Dance ! DANCE!" |
