oil on canvas classic portrait

So, what can I say about 2020 that someone else hasn’t said already, and probably better than I ever could?

First, let me catch up on things around here. Fortunately, no one is ill or out of work, of which both I am very thankful! Nor does anyone HAVE to work with the public. But that doesn’t mean it hasn’t affected things.

Most of the pieces I created the last six months are intended for a particular show. The show, planned for June is hopefully going to happen. Right now, the gallery is closed until June 1st. Like everyone, we all are just waiting to see what happens. There is no clear-cut end in sight for the current world events surrounding COVID-19.

I continue to work as if the show will happen as initially scheduled. If it does not, then I guess I am sure to be better prepared at a later date.

Although the books have not been the focus this past year, some will be revised and updated and other new ones created. I was fortunate enough to take a course recently with Sarra Cannon that helped get a clear vision of what I want to do with them all.

I JUST added new work to the site and updated a few other things. If anyone has any questions or just would like to chat look me up on Facebook. Or if social media isn’t your thing, drop me an email and I will be sure to reply in a timely fashion!
